This Brydge MAX 13.0 keyboard is EXACTLY as described. With the iPad 13 inch M4 others have ask what new laptop is that and who made it? Well I explained the keyboard is making the iPad look extra professional. The keyboard functions exceptional well. No CONS! .

Overall this is a great keyboard. The functionality is amazing, keyboards are more than sufficient and being able to utilise my ipad for work or for entertainment with ease makes this one of the best keyboards available. My only gripes are the lack of an extra usb c port like Apple’s magic keyboard has, and the weight of the keyboard. Although I understand the weight allows me to type on this keyboard in any situation, and the battery life is one of the best in the market, if these two issues were tweaked, your competition for alternative iPad keyboards would go out of business.

Great addition to make my iPad Air 13” a more professional usable tool. It is a bit heavy but that comes with quality. Keystrokes are great as responsiveness as well. Also the top keys with functions are great. To be added feature for new release is that the iPad is charged through the Brydge. As compared to magic keyboard from Apple you now lose a USB-c port to connect a extra screen or phone.

I’ve been a loyal Brydge customer since the very beginning, when I first backed and followed the original Brydge keyboard after it was introduced on Kickstarter. I’ve loved the company’s products ever since, and the new Brydge MAX 13.0 continues that tradition. The MAX 13.0 for my iPad Pro 12.9 is everything I was hoping for. The all-aluminum construction feels incredibly premium, the keyboard has a fantastic typing experience with excellent key travel, and the large precision trackpad is smooth and responsive. It truly transforms my iPad into a laptop-like workstation while still giving me the flexibility of a tablet whenever I need it. What has always impressed me about Brydge is the attention to detail. The sturdy hinge, solid build quality, and thoughtful design make this feel like a natural extension of the iPad instead of just another accessory. I love the flexibility of the case with my iPad. It’s much more comfortable and balanced to use on my lap than the Logitech case I had. While the aluminum case is sturdy, it is VERY heavy and it gets cold at times. But it still does the job and I’m very happy with it.

Absolutely love my Brydge! I primarily use my iPad for work, so having easy access of switching it between an upright iPad and essentially a MacBook has been a total game changer. When I had issues with my device, customer support was incredible to work with and sent me a new replacement product. 10/10 experience, can’t recommend this product and company enough!

I think the look and function is best in class. I have just 2 complaints. One, it is very heavy and a little thick on the keyboard side. Two, it needs a better solution for pencil storage than just counting on the iPad magnet. Until I find something I like better, I will stick with it.

I echo the positive comments. What I will add is my surprise that using any key whatsoever bricks the trackpad meaning I cannot use shift + cursor to select.

Overall, a positive experience but there are issues with the bottom/primary hinge and trackpad. What's great: - The typing experience is excellent. - The various possible angles provided by the two hinges are something I've always wanted and are appreciated. Moving the iPad to the most forward position to cover the keyboard/trackpad and use it for watching video is a welcome addition! - The row of function keys at the top! - Thanks to the heavier base the iPad/keyboard is far more stable in the lap and far less likely to tip over backwards than what I've experienced with Apple's product which tips backward constantly when used on my lap or on a pillow. The two notable negatives: - The bottom hinge is not as strong as it should be. When I tilt the keyboard forward or backward from a flat position there's a good chance the iPad is going to tilt forward (to the point of closing itself) or backward to the point where the hinge stops it. When I pick the keyboard up or put it down, the same thing. If the positioning of the iPad is slightly back or forward it will fall backward or forward with even gentle movement. My conclusion is that the bottom hinge is not stiff enough to keep the iPad in its set position. - The other is a lack of palm rejection on the Trackpad which has also been a problem with other third party trackpads I've used. If you prefer to use "Tap to click" for your trackpad you'll likely find yourself making many accidental taps/clicks. That said the quality of the mechanical clicking of the trackpad is excellent. A final note on the weight: Yes, it's heavy! I knew that when I purchased it and I'm okay with it. But don't underestimate the weight! That said, I've used laptops in the past that were far heavier! For comparison, the 12.9" iPad Pro in the Brydge weighs a bit more than a 2015 13" MacBook Pro. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase thought I'd be much happier were it not for the weakness of the lower hinge.

Great alternative case/keyboard to the apple Magic Keyboard with a variety of viewing options and use purposes. The only reason for 4-stars is when in computer viewing mode with my 13” iPad Pro, if the angle is beyond 90d, it is quite too heavy and can fall backward on the table or my lap, as well as the hinge loses its strength a bit at inclined angles. Otherwise, love the product.

This is my second Brydge case and I love the new functions (angles of iPad). Even though I had one before, I still did research to see if anything can top this case for what I need. The keyboard is just like typing on my Mac, and for me, that is very important. This new one also has better support and protection on the part that backs the iPad. And the Bluetooth connection and setup is much easier. I have only two disappointments that remain from the first one I bought. There is no holder for the pencil, so it is easy to fall off if you carry it around. Second, I thought this case was going to allow me to lay the iPad flat so I could use it in portrait layout—without removing it from the case, but sadly, it doesn’t. I’m hoping for those two things in the next model. (Hint!) However, for me, the need for an excellent keyboard trumps that for now, so that’s why I can’t give it five stars.

Not as good as Magic Keyboard in some ways but so much more useful in others! I wanted something that would allow me to switch to writing with the pencil easier than turning my IPad upside down with the Magic Keyboard or taking it off completely. Also saving some battery life on my older IPad👍 Magnets don’t seem quite as strong but are still very good

I really like the feel of this keyboard and trackpad case. The functionality is superb. The only issue I have that prevents me from giving a hearty 5 star review has to do with the connection stability. Nearly every time I use it for any length of time it randomly disconnects from the iPad, not recognizing the trackpad or the keyboard. I have to turn off the iPad screen and turn it back on again, then it reconnected. It's frustrating on an otherwise stellar device. It could just be a singular device issue that's not common, but frustrating nonetheless.

Pros: good quality built over all loved the ways you can tilt and view the screen. Cons: hard to open. trackpad response time not consistant. Spacebar does not work when top part of spacebar pressed. Sharp edges on magnetic end parts of the hinge.

I don’t like tapping the keys to get it to reconnect, I don’t like how the hing is a little floppy depending on the angles. It’s Okay. Key’s feel nice. Keys are nice and bright. Feels pretty solid.

The ways this can fold are amazing. It looks good, and feels good. But Fn sharing the Control key makes Control-Space impossible to press, and after a week I still need to consciously click slowly, to make sure it’s recognized properly. Support is really great, but unfortunately in the end I couldn’t really make it work out for me.
