ProDock & Stone Pro TB4

No separate driver installation is required. Both the ProDock and Stone Pro TB4 are built on Intel's Thunderbolt reference design, which means they receive ongoing support and updates automatically through your computer's regular operating system updates, whether you're on Windows or macOS.

Simply keep your operating system up to date and your docking station will remain fully compatible and performing at its best.

Both the ProDock and Stone Pro TB4 support up to two external displays when connected to a compatible laptop.

MacBook display support:
• MacBooks with M3, M4, or M1-M4 Pro/Max chips, support up to two external displays.
• MacBooks with the base M1 or M2 chip, limited by Apple to one external display only. The docking station will also be limited to a single display in these cases.

Windows laptops:
The number of supported displays can vary by manufacturer and graphics capability. Check your laptop's specifications to confirm multi-display support before purchasing.

The ProDock and Stone Pro TB4 don't include HDMI or DP ports by design. Omitting them allows for more USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports and ensures compatibility with modern displays and future-proofed connectivity standards.

To connect an HDMI or DisplayPort monitor, use a compatible USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable. These cables are available on the Brydge accessories page.

1. Open the Apple menu > System Settings.
2. Click Sound, then select Output.
3. Under Type, select USB.

4. Open the Apple menu > System Settings, then click Network.
5. Make sure the docking station is listed at the top of the network connections list and remove any unused connections.
6. Renew your DHCP lease and restart your MacBook.

Note: A MacBook cannot output to an external display in clamshell mode (lid closed) unless a mouse and keyboard are connected. Connect them via Bluetooth or plug them directly into the ProDock before closing the lid.

Certain non-Apple displays connected via a Thunderbolt cable may occasionally fail to send a wake signal to your MacBook when connected through a docking station.

If this happens, switch to a USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable to connect your display instead. This resolves the issue in most cases.
