great , just what I was looking for! I ordered for 16", but I have a 14", my mistake. But it fits! The vertical dock is a bit too big, but I found a way, so all perfect. Advantage: If I change to 16", I won't have to change the dock 😉 Very happy with my purchase, the service and the shipping.

The ProDock is compatible with MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch (M1–M5) and MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch (M2–M5).

The ProDock uses Thunderbolt 4 ports exclusively to maximise compatibility and flexibility. Connect HDMI or DisplayPort monitors using a USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DP cable.

If your MacBook detects your ProDocks LAN chip in your system settings, but you aren't getting an internet connection, you are likely experiencing a known macOS configuration glitch.

While your Mac can see the hardware inside the dock, it has failed to create a "network highway" for it. You can easily fix this by resetting your Mac's network memory using the two steps below.

 

Step 1: Refresh your Mac's Network Memory

Sometimes, old or corrupted configuration files prevent macOS from recognizing new network ports. Forcing your Mac to rebuild this list usually solves the problem instantly.

  1. Unplug your MacBook from the ProDock.
  2. Open Finder, click Go in the top menu bar, and select Go to Folder...
  3. Copy and paste this exact path into the box and hit Enter:
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/
  4. Find the file named NetworkInterfaces.plist and move it to the Trash. (Your Mac will ask for your password to confirm).
  5. Restart your Mac.
  6. Once your Mac turns back on, plug the dock back in. In most cases, macOS will now automatically detect the port and connect to the internet.

Step 2: Manually Add the Port (If Step 1 didn't work)

If the port still doesn't activate automatically, you can manually tell macOS to look for it:

  1. Open System Settings on your Mac and click Network.
  2. Click the three-dot icon (...) at the bottom of your network list and choose Add Service...
  3. Click the Interface dropdown menu.
  4. Look for an option labeled USB 10/100/1G/2.5G LAN or Thunderbolt Ethernet.
  5. Select it, give it a name (like "Brydge ProDock"), click Create, and then click Apply.
